Quon first sang in a formal choir in California in the late 1950s, which was the basis for her love of choral music. Aside from her operations with Beati, she currently serves as Secretary to the Board of Friends of HART, Inc., the organization that operates Hillsboro Actors Repertory Theatre. An attorney, Quon also volunteers at her neighborhood middle school and works with the Make A Wish Foundation of Oregon.
