The younger of the two Beati development and design teams, the Capitola Team makes up for their youth with passion and dedication, as well as backgrounds in a large variety of areas. Their experience is significant, as well, and often surprises those who run across their work. Based out of Southern California, seven of the nine members attended (or still attend) the same institution, with the remaining two receiving their schooling nearby. All of the members hail from the Golden State, with hometowns from as far north as the Bay Area region down to the souther border of the state, with four claiming residence in the Santa Cruz area. Thee team takes both modern and classical approaches to their work, and together bring youthful exuberance and a large amount of experience to the organization. The team is named after a city/beach in Santa Cruz County. Its theme songs are Phantom Planet's California, Katy Perry's California Gurls, and California, Here I Come.
